Snow is falling outside
The sky is dark
Candles flicker in our home
The air is chilly
And yet, I am warm
You lay beside me
Snuggled deeply under the blankets
You make those sweet noises
That only a mother and child hear
Nursing quietly and sweetly
In those moments
We are in our own world
