At the baby showers that I have given, I have every guest bring a can of formula. In your invitations, include the type of formula that the mother-to-be will use. Let everyone that is invited know that, if they bring a can of formula, they will be entered in a door prize drawing. When they arrive with their can of formula, put their name on the bottom of the can.

TIP: I put the formula cans in a cute wicker basket decorated with the colors of the party and let the mother-to-be draw cans out during the shower. The mother-to-be will go home with extra formula at no expense to her, and it won't cost your guest more than $3.00. This works very well!
