I was teaching 4th grade when I was pregnant with my daughter. One of my student's mother organized a surprise baby shower for me. She made a cake and some of the students brought in gifts. The most unique gift was a diaper bag from the whole class filled with diapers. In each diaper was a note written by a student. While I was on maternity leave. I was able to read a surprise note from one of my students each time I changed a diaper! The notes were so sweet and funny that I actually looked forward to changing diapers.
